A memorial service celebrating the inspirational life of Bruce BonFleur will be held at the Mentone Community Church on Saturday, October 5th at 2 p.m.
As we neared the deadline for this month’s edition, we learned the sad news that Bruce BonFleur had passed away. Without Bruce’s vision, creativity, and motivation, you would not be reading The Groundhog today. He founded this publication and kept it going for many years. While this was certainly not his only contribution to the culture of Mentone, it is an important one that continues to serve the community today.
