Companion Volume to “Hidden Mentone” Coming in December

“Hidden Mentone Volume 2” will debut December 12 with a book launch party from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Mentone Arts Center. The book is a sequel to “Hidden Mentone Volume 1,” a gem that has sold over 500 copies in local Mentone businesses.
Deedee Morrison and Elizabeth Thornell helped with editorial, shoot scheduling, and marketing. All photos were shot by Lesa and David Cummings, who moved to Mentone last year and were amazed at the photographic possibilities of this unique community. These four authors wanted to capture a contemporary visual history of Mentone and surrounding areas that can be cherished for generations to come.
Buy your copy of “Hidden Mentone Volume 2” for $28 plus tax at the Mentone Arts Center, Mentone Market, Hatter Cafe, Little River Arts Council Gallery, and the Little River Canyon Center. Copies of Volume 1 are still available as well. Share the magic of Mentone with your friends and family for Christmas!
