Vann-McCary Scholarship Applications Due April 15

To all local college-bound students: Spring means time to apply for scholarships! St Joseph’s on-the-Mountain Episcopal Church is accepting applications for students planning to attend college in the fall. The deadline for applications is April 15.

The Vann-McCary Scholarship Committee continues to partner with students from the Mentone /Valley Head area. High school graduating seniors and returning college students are invited to apply. The application is simple and direct. Students will have a chance to talk about their dreams and how they would like to make them happen. Recipients often qualify for multiple years. The committee will consider: level of financial need, academic achievements to date, and clarity of educational goals as part of this application. Application packets can be downloaded online at www.stjom.church. Go to “Outreach” then “Scholarships.” Packets are also available at Valley Head High School. See Mrs. Hulgan.
