Name The Groundhog Mascot!
Your favorite community newspaper now has a live mascot! If you attended the Groundhog Day Community Celebration last month, you saw the debut of our new mascot. Kids and adults alike loved dancing and interacting with the life-sized critter. The mascot also made an appearance at the February Mentone Town Council meeting, handing out Valentine’s Day candies to our elected officials and attendees.
But our mascot is missing something — a name! Submit your ideas for the playful critter’s moniker. If we select your idea*, you’ll receive a free year’s subscription to The Groundhog, plus one night’s stay at the Mentone Inn Bed and Breakfast!**
To submit your idea, visit readthegroundhog.com/name. We can’t wait to see your submission!
*If more than one person submits the same winning name, we will draw from those submissions for our winner.
**Non-transferable; winner must use free stay themselves.
