Step Back in Time: Memories of Mayberry Coming May 3rd

It’s Mayberry time again! The Town of Valley Head invites everyone to the 8th Annual Memories of Mayberry Festival on Saturday, May 3, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Held around the town square, the festival will feature live music by country rock band Stranded, pony rides and train rides for kids, a classic car Cruise-In, and appearances by Mayberry favorites like Deputy Barney Fife and Floyd the Barber. Visitors can also enjoy tasty bites from local food trucks, shop from over 20 craft vendors, and take part in fun contests like pie baking and Aunt Bee’s Homemade Dill Pickle competition.
