Scholarships awarded to VHS Students

The decision was difficult! The scholarship committee had several well qualified applicants who have excelled in academics and outside the classroom. It is truly wonderful to have this dilemma and know that Valley Head School is graduating dedicated and determined young women and men.

The 2025 Valley Head Area Women’s Club Scholarships were awarded to Makayla Gilbert and Johnny Mann. Each student will receive $700 toward furthering their education. Both Makayla and Johnny exhibit the drive to make things happen. We wish them great success on their new journeys. The club would also like to wish the very best to the other applicants who also showed great promise for a bright future. As stated before, the decision was difficult; all applicants were very deserving.

This scholarship is an annual scholarship open to all Valley Head School graduating seniors who are furthering their education in some way. We gladly support technical skills, academic pursuits, and career training that ends with certification. Thank you to all those who support our Thanksgiving bake sale and pecan sale (Going Nuts for Education).
