Employment Program Offered for Seniors
The Top of Alabama Regional Council of Governments (TARCOG) Senior Community Service Employment Program is seeking applicants 55 and older for part-time work and paid job training opportunities. The program has 48 openings across DeKalb, Jackson, Limestone, Madison, and Marshall counties, offering participants per hour and up to 29 hours of work per week. Designed to help seniors build skills and transition into permanent employment, the program places participants with public agencies and nonprofit organizations and prioritizes veterans and income-eligible individuals.
