Ruth Ferraz Gallery Opens in Mentone

The Ruth Ferraz Art Gallery will celebrate its grand opening with the first exhibition of Ferraz’s artwork in Mentone. Ferraz is a Christian worship artist, and the gallery opening will feature not only her original oil paintings on canvas, but also a variety of interactive activities. In addition to being a gifted artist, Ferraz is a postgraduate-qualified teacher who conducts research on brain function and ways to enhance creativity and other skills for professionals of all kinds — not just art. She will offer creativity workshops, live painting sessions, and more at the new gallery. The first workshop series will take place on Fridays in July from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Seating is limited, and reservations are encouraged.

A resident of Mentone for almost eight years, Ferraz lived for five years in Savannah, Georgia, another city known for its artistic spirit. However, she says that in Mentone her artistic talent has blossomed as never before because of the area’s pure and powerful natural beauty.

Visitors are invited to experience the impact of these original oil-on-canvas works on both mind and soul.

Opening Reception

Friday, June 19, from 4 to 8 p.m.
The reception will include an artist presentation. Refreshments will be served.

After the opening, gallery visits will be available by appointment via text message, phone call, or email. Appointments may also be made to reserve a seat for the workshops.
