Mentone Fall Festival Returns Saturday, Oct. 17

Lots of Good Food Choices and Opportunities to Sponsor

Mentone is preparing to welcome thousands of visitors as the Mentone Fall Festival returns Saturday, Oct. 17, for a full day of art, music, food, and mountain hospitality.

Held on the historic Moon Lake Campus, the annual festival has become one of Northeast Alabama’s premier fall events, drawing more than 90 artists and vendors along with live entertainment, food vendors, and activities celebrating the community’s creative spirit. Admission is free, making it a favorite autumn destination for families, shoppers, and leaf peepers alike.

The festival is more than a day of fun. Sponsorships and other proceeds help fund ongoing renovations and improvements to the historic Moon Lake Campus, which today is home to artist studios, shops, galleries, community events, and educational programs.

Festival coordinator and artist Deedee Morrison said the goal is to continue building on the festival’s success while investing in the future of the campus.

“The Mentone Fall Festival creates an economic impact well beyond the campus,” Morrison said. “It benefits the artists and restaurants throughout town, the bed-and-breakfasts and cabins, and everyone who stays and shops here during festival weekend.”

She points out that the festival is also an investment in Mentone’s future.

“Our Fall Festival is an important cultural and tourism event for our town,” Morrison said. “More than that, it’s part of a larger plan to preserve the property and ensure its future as a center for our community.”

Local businesses and organizations are invited to become sponsors and help make the festival possible while gaining valuable exposure throughout the region.

To sponsor the event, make checks payable to Town of Mentone and mail them to Mentone Fall Festival, P.O. Box 295, Mentone, AL 35984. Please note “Mentone Fall Festival Sponsorship” on the memo line.

Sponsorships may also be made through Venmo at @Townof-Mentone. Include “Mentone Fall Festival Sponsorship” in the payment description.
