Convocation of Eagles
The New Oxford American Dictionary defines convocation as a large formal assembly of people. This is also what a large group of eagles is called, and our post has our own convocation. Here are Barry Morton’s 1999 and 2002 Civilian Employee of the Year Awards from the Department of the Air Force computer organization in Montgomery, as well as the award that our Adjutant Claire Baroni won for completing the American Legion Basics Course. Congrats, Claire!
June 29: The post will set up a booth at the Rainsville Freedom Fest and hold a $5 raffle for a $250 Cabela’s gift certificate.
July 4: Members will represent the post in the Henagar Parade and Car Show.
