Check Out Mentone’s New Poetry Club
Do poems stir your soul? Does a well-turned line warm your heart? Would you like to learn more about reading and appreciating poetry?
Moon Lake Library will host a get-acquainted meeting on March 6 at 3 p.m. for those interested in starting a local poetry club. Dekie Hicks of Rome, Georgia, is the organizer. As Dekie explains, “The idea is to form a group like a book club but for poems. Everyone would bring in a poem to share and discuss with the group.”
