Constitution Day Program: Ensuring Election Integrity with Judge Ronnie Osborne

Join us at the library for our annual Constitution Day Program on September 16 at 6:30 p.m. Each September, we celebrate the birthday of the Constitution with an educational program about some aspect of constitutional law. This year, DeKalb County Probate Judge Ronnie Osborne will speak on “Ensuring Election Integrity.”

This is an opportunity to satisfy your curiosity about how local officials in charge of election procedures make sure the vote is accurate. You’ll also find out how volunteers receive training to assist at the polls. We’ll offer free pocket copies of the Constitution to take with you.

The United States Constitution was signed Sept. 17, 1787, in Philadelphia. It is the oldest written national constitution still in operation and often used as a model for other countries establishing a system of laws. Join us as we find out how election law is implemented here in DeKalb County.
