Possum Emporium Antique Mall Opens Saturday, May 24
A new antique mall is coming to Mentone, bringing quality goods and a fun shopping experience to the community.

The Possum Emporium opens Saturday, May 24, at 10 a.m. It is located at 1774 County Road 642 in a former church building just 200 yards off Alabama Highway 117. Ray Padgett has transformed the building into a shop that will feature vendors with a wide variety of antiques, collectibles, musical instruments, and more. The store will be open Thursdays through Sundays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The opening will kick off with the first Mentone Dicker Days, which will run throughout the year. During Dicker Days, pop-up vendors will be set up in tents across the lawn, along with food vendors.
To inquire about booth space in the building or tent space on Saturdays, contact Padgett at 256-634-1295.
To learn more, visit the Possum Emporium on Facebook or the Possum Emporium website.
