See You Saturday, October 19!

Welcome to the Biggest Annual Event in Mentone

After months of preparation and anticipation, the biggest day in Mentone is here. Welcome to the Mentone Fall Festival!
Saturday, October 19, will be a day filled with activities, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., offering something for all ages. Held on the grounds of the historic Moon Lake School, the festival will feature art vendors, food trucks, and children’s activities. The shops and galleries inside the former school house will be open to visitors and shoppers.
The Shigley Amphitheater will come alive with music, featuring performances by the Mentone Ukes, Lisa Crow, Still Kickin’, Judy-Nicole Kirby, and more.
While all this is happening around the Moon Lake campus, events will take place throughout town.
The nearby Moon Lake Trading Co. will host a fall fling with music, vendors, and great Seabolt’s tacos. The unique shops inside the Log Cabin Village will welcome visitors throughout the day while hosting live music. Farmers markets will provide produce, meats, baked goods, and other fresh foods. Local restaurants will make sure no one leaves hungry.
The Friday before the festival, a kickoff concert featuring local favorite Will Dooley and Company will be held at the Linger Longer Pavilion behind the Mentone Inn. The event runs from 6 to 9 p.m.
“This is a great event, involving people throughout our town,” says Mentone Mayor Rob Hammond. “Beyond our incredible volunteers, businesses are welcoming friends and visitors with their arts, crafts, food, and gift items. It’s a true community event.”
The Mentone Fall Festival is a great way to kick off the arrival of cooler temperatures and the fall foliage color season. It’s also an opportunity to begin your holiday gift shopping by finding unique items you can buy directly from the artists.
The event is hosted by the Town of Mentone, with proceeds going toward the maintenance and renovation of the school campus.
