Taste of the Mountain and Art Auction Event Set for April 12

The year’s big food and art event is just around the corner. Get your tickets while they last for MERF’s annual Taste of the Mountain and Art Auction.
The event is set for Saturday, April 12, at Alpine Camp. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. and the event begins at 6 p.m.
This is more than just a great night out. Your ticket includes access to a delicious sampling of food from area restaurants, along with the opportunity to bid on one-of-a-kind local artwork and unforgettable experiences.
This year’s featured artists include Meg Justice, Doug Perkins, Mikel Yeakle, Lesa and David Cummings, and more — showcasing an exciting mix of styles and mediums. The auction includes pieces created by young artists from MERF’s Fine Arts Program at Valley Head School, under the guidance of instructor Caroline Moore.
Looking for a unique experience? This year’s auction lineup includes a Little Mole Run Golf Course experience for 4 persons and some weekend retreats perfect for making lasting memories.
Thanks to the incredible support of the community and local businesses, this fundraiser continues to thrive. Every dollar raised helps MERF further its mission of fostering lifelong learning in our schools and the wider community. From supporting the Valley Head School fine arts program to funding field trips, library resources, teacher appreciation, and more, MERF is focused on enriching education and providing growth opportunities to students. Other community programs include senior lunches, scholarships, and various outreach efforts.
“We are deeply grateful for the artists and food vendors who’ve donated their amazing creations,” says Kathryn Norris, president of MERF’s board of directors. “We also appreciate the local sponsors who support the event and the dedicated volunteers making it all possible.” Taste of the Mountain truly is a celebration of community. Get your tickets and come be part of a special evening!
