Valley Head Students Receive Scholarships and Awards
MERF is proud to announce the winners of the 2025 Carter Holland Scholarship and Mountain Spirit Awards. The Carter Holland Educational Fund, established by Carter’s family and friends after his passing, is a way to continue his legacy by recognizing extraordinary examples of kindness and leadership. The fund not only provides money for scholarships for graduating seniors, but it also enables the school and MERF to acknowledge and reward younger students who display a giving spirit and strong commitment to their community, among other qualities.
