Welcome to the Mentone Fall Festival!

Big event set for Saturday, October 18th

After months of preparation, the biggest day in Mentone is almost here. The Mentone Fall Festival is set for Saturday, October 18, and will be a day filled with activities from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., offering something for all ages. Hosted by the Town of Mentone on the grounds of the historic Moon Lake Campus, the festival will feature around 80 art vendors, food trucks, and children’s art activities — including an art show by local 4th-6th graders. The shops, galleries, and restaurant inside the former schoolhouse will be open to welcome visitors, shoppers, and diners.

The Shigley Amphitheater will come alive with music, with headliners Three On A String along with singer-songwriter Pierce Pettis and local favorite Average Joe. The front of the campus will feature acoustic music by talented local artists.

And don’t miss events throughout town. The Moon Lake Trading Co. will host vendors, music and great food. The Log Cabin Village shops will be open with live music, and vendors will provide fresh produce, meats, baked goods, and more at the farmer’s market. Local restaurants will make sure no one leaves hungry.

Leading into the festival, a kickoff concert featuring Will Dooley and Friends will be held on Friday evening from 6-9 p.m. at the Linger Longer Pavilion behind Mentone Inn. Grab a hearty chili supper served by our local Scouts. All proceeds support their community projects and activities.

“This is a great event, involving people throughout our town,” says Mentone Mayor Rob Hammond. “Beyond our incredible volunteers, businesses have made this event possible with their sponsorship, as they welcome friends and visitors with their arts, crafts, food, and gifts. It’s a true community event.”

The Mentone Fall Festival is a great way to celebrate cooler temperatures and fall foliage, and it’s also a chance to begin your holiday gift shopping by finding unique items you can buy directly from the more than 80 artists set up at the event.

Proceeds from the festival are reinvested into maintenance and renovation of the Moon Lake Campus property, supporting its tenants and cultural programming.
